Under the guidance and support of the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, the 2023 International Industrial Cooperation Conference (Singapore) was successfully held from March 22 to 24, 2023. The event was jointly organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI). During the signing and release ceremony of the conference's outcomes, four cooperation projects were signed on-site, and two achievements were released, covering topics such as green and low-carbon development, international industrial cooperation, financial support, and trade facilitation. These outcomes fully reflect the collaborative direction and preliminary results of the conference.
Cooperation Agreement 1: Joint Action Plan on the Promotion of Green Development
The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI), Malaysia Chinese Association (MCA), Thailand-China Business Council (TCBC), Brunei Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce jointly signed the Joint Action Plan on Promoting Green Development. The six chambers of commerce will deepen cooperation and exchanges in promoting green development, conducting green economic cooperation, strengthening green technology innovation, and building an international industrial service network. They will jointly promote sustainable development, respond to climate change, and promote the global ecological civilization construction of enterprises.
Cooperation Agreement 2: Memorandum of the Establishment of International Industrial Cooperation Service Platform
The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry Chinese Enterprise Association, and Sheng Yu Advisory Pte Ltd signed a Memorandum of the Establishment of International Industrial Cooperation Service Platform. The International Industrial Cooperation Service Platform aims to create a public service platform based in Singapore that integrates various high-quality and professional service resources in the international market. It supports enterprises from China, Singapore, and other RCEP member countries in investment, trade, and international industrial capacity cooperation, and expands into the Singapore, ASEAN, and even larger international markets with high quality.
Cooperation Agreement 3: Memorandum of Cooperation between China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Dahua Bank (China) Limited.
China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Dahua Bank (China) Limited signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The three parties will give full play to their respective advantages, achieve common development through resource integration and business cooperation, and realize win-win results, making positive efforts to further enhance the level of economic and trade cooperation among RCEP countries such as Singapore and China.
Cooperation Agreement 4: Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation Platform
China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and Thailand Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited signed the "Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation Platform". Both parties will fully leverage their respective advantages and jointly build a cooperation platform to provide high-quality services for Chinese machinery and electronic industry enterprises to expand RCEP markets.

"International Industrial Cooperation and Trade Facilitation Insight" is jointly compiled by Deloitte, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), and the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI). This report elaborates in depth on the definition of trade facilitation, studies the hindrance of non-efficiency and non-tariff barriers to the development of trade, the impact of global value chain reshaping on the development of trade facilitation, and the path to improving trade facilitation. The report outlines the development process of trade facilitation in China and its main measures, and provides suggestions for improving China's level of trade facilitation by benchmarking the trade facilitation measures of leading international countries.

The "China Carbon Disclosure Platform for Machinery and Electronics" was tailored for The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) and Shanghai Carbon Newture Co., Ltd.The platform is closely aligned with current green development practices and includes modules on carbon data, carbon emissions reduction, and carbon finance. It uses technologies such as blockchain, the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence to provide diversified digital management and certification services for product carbon footprints, enterprise carbon emissions, and green factories to companies from China and around the world. The platform ensures the safety of "dual carbon" data for upstream and downstream enterprises and promotes transparent communication through third-party verification. The platform aims to promote the active "dual carbon" information disclosure and compliance of Chinese Machinery and Electronics industry in the context of the "3060" target for peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality, accelerating the realization of green and low-carbon transformation.
