According to the statistics from China Customs, in May, China's exports of lithium-ion batteries amounted to 5.472 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 42.20%. The export quantity was 30,581.95 million pieces, representing a year-on-year decrease of 7.17%.

In the first five months, China's cumulative exports of lithium-ion batteries reached 26.722 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 66.00%. The export quantity was 143,622.71 million pieces, showing a year-on-year decrease of 10.32%.

In terms of market, the top ten countries/regions for China's lithium-ion battery exports in the first five months were the United States, Germany, South Korea, the Netherlands, Vietnam, India, South Africa, Japan, Spain, and Belgium, accounting for a total of 76.26% of China's total exports in this product category.

The United States was the largest market for China's lithium-ion battery exports in the first five months, with an export value of 5.298 billion US dollars, representing a year-on-year growth of 65.66%. In May, the export value to the United States was 999 million US dollars, showing a year-on-year growth of 16.98%.
